We regularly treat patients from Marquette, Sault Ste. Marie, and other Upper Peninsula communities where a board-certified prosthodontist simply isn't available locally — along with patients flying in from outside Michigan for zygomatic implants, failed-implant rescue, oncology-related maxillofacial rehabilitation, or a second opinion on a case another office has declined.
Planning Your Visit
Most traveling full-arch patients plan around two visits. Your care coordinator will help you map exact dates once your candidacy is confirmed — this is the general shape of it.
Consultation, Same-Day Surgery, and Fixed Teeth
- Free consultation and CBCT 3D scan (a $750 value) — no obligation
- AI-assisted smile design, reviewed and approved by you before anything is finalized
- Surgery day: extractions, implant placement, and same-day fixed teeth fabricated and delivered in-house — you don't leave without teeth
Osseointegration at Home
- You heal at home on your same-day fixed teeth while your implants integrate with the bone
- Photos and check-ins can be coordinated remotely with our team
Prototype Approval and Final Zirconia
- Prototype scans and your approval, followed by final custom zirconia delivery 2–4 weeks later
- Depending on schedule, this is typically one shorter trip back — your coordinator will help plan the most efficient timing
Total typical timeline is 4–6 months from first visit to final zirconia; a phased option extending to 12–18 months is also available for financial reasons, with replacement provisionals covered throughout. Single tooth and multi-tooth bridge cases follow a different, shorter visit pattern — ask your coordinator what applies to you.
Two Airports, Depending on How You Fly
Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)
Our main commercial airport, served by major carriers with direct flights from most of the country. Roughly 25 miles / about 35–40 minutes from our Southfield office by car (traffic-dependent).
Oakland County International Airport (PTK)
Located in Waterford Township, PTK primarily serves general aviation and charter operations. If you're flying in privately, this is typically the more convenient option — roughly 15 miles / about 20–25 minutes from our office.
Driving distances and times are approximate and will vary with traffic. Our care coordinator can help with directions once your visit is scheduled.
