You probably heard the terms “ All On 4”, “Same-Day Teeth”, Teeth in a Day”, Full Arch” “Teeth Express” and wondered if this is even possible. All these terms refer to multiple implants supporting a permanent bridge that replaces all the teeth. The “All on 4” procedure was the original protocol pioneered in Europe over 20 years and variations of this technique have since been developed. Unlike the original “All on 4” procedure, we do not limit the number of implants to 4 and place as many implants as needed to provide support for a permanent replacement.
This is the most efficient and cost effective method to replace all the missing teeth with permanent (non removable) teeth that look and feel as close to natural teeth as possible. There is no need for lengthy protracted bone grafting procedures which may be needed in the traditional approach. This greatly reduces the treatment time and costs.
By placing several implants in strategic locations using the existing bone, temporary bridge can be made and delivered shortly after the procedure for use during the healing phase. The permanent bridge will then be fabricated and delivered after a 3-4 months healing time. Unlike other clinics that make a traditional denture and attach it to the implants through a “conversion” process by the dental lab, at our clinic, we take specific measurements of the mouth, face and bite using digital technology that allows us to fabricate precise fitting restorations the day of the procedure or shortly thereafter.
