Day of the Procedure

IV Sedation:

Patient comfort and experience is very important to us. Surgical procedures are performed under IV sedation to maximize comfort.

Tissue & Bone Preparation:

After IV sedation administration, the first step of the procedure is the removal of the diseased teeth, bone and gum tissue as needed and where applicable. This ensures the establishment of a healthy foundation on which the implants will be installed. For patients with remaining failed teeth, the teeth will be removed along with any infected tissue and abscesses. Moreover, infected and inflamed gum tissues that used to surround the teeth is removed.

Insertion of Implants:

After a suitable healthy bony foundation has been prepared, a suitable number of implants are inserted into the bone to serve as anchors for the new teeth. By relying on healthy bone in strategic areas of the jaws, we can avoid the lengthy bone grafting procedures that may be needed in other treatment approaches.

Delivery of New Bridgework:

After the insertion of the implants, the temporary bridges are fabricated in our in-house laboratory using our digital workflow process. After characterization and customization, the bridges are installed on the new implants and you leave our office with your new smile.
