Our facility houses a 3-D CT machine, and all the latest digital dental laboratory equipment and personnel to design and manufacture all kinds of dental implants restorations in house. Multiple Providers-MoreVisits-Higher Cost-Lower Efficiency
In the conventional approach, the patient shows up at his dentist’s office with seeking a solution to his/her problem. Based on the dentist’s experience, training, and comfort level, a referral will be made to the surgeon. Many times, a separate referral and trip will be needed to an imaging center to obtain a CT scan as most offices do not have such imaging capabilities. The surgeon and the restoring dentist will then need to meet and collaborate on planning the case in order to present a treatment plan to the patient. Once a treatment plan is agreed to by the two providers, the necessary impressions and measurements will be taken and the case sent to an outside laboratory where dentures will be made for the the day of the procedure. The dentures are then “ converted” to fit over the implants by the laboratory technician/dentist at the surgeon’s office. The restoring dentist will ultimately perform the necessary steps to complete the case and deliver the final bridge after it is sent by the dental lab.
