Most patients with adequate bone receive 5–6 implants per arch; some receive 4, others more, depending on anatomy.

“Arch” is dental terminology for jaw. Upper arch means the upper jaw, lower arch means the lower jaw. A full arch means every tooth in that one jaw is being replaced; a double arch means both the upper and lower jaw are being treated.

Smoking is associated with higher complication rates after implant surgery. Implants can still be placed in smokers, but we strongly recommend avoiding smoking during healing to give the implants the best chance to integrate successfully.

For full arch cases, yes — you leave surgery with a fixed, non-removable set of teeth made from high-density, zirconia-filled nano-hybrid resin. This is not your final restoration. Your final zirconia teeth are custom-made and delivered after your mouth has fully healed, typically 4–6 months later. We don't rush that step, because delivering final teeth too early risks a poor long-term fit as healing tissue continues to change shape.

Yes. Full arch cases include a 10-year warranty on the implants, abutments, screws, and final zirconia restoration, conditional on keeping up with recommended maintenance — twice-yearly professional cleanings, annual imaging, and consistent use of an occlusal guard. Full terms are provided in your written warranty agreement at treatment.

Twice-yearly maintenance visits with Dr. Jandali or his team, including a professional cleaning. At home: routine brushing, flossing, a water flosser, and nightly use of your bite guard.
